(The next one I like is 02 Pink Banana) If you're similar to me, I'd recommend the Cleartone line. The great thing about Lip Monsters is that they apply smoothly and don't clump, so you can swipe them on without looking in the mirror, just like a lip balm. The Cleartone version seems to amplify this advantage even further. They have much more transparency and a lighter color payoff...they feel more like a tinted lip balm than the original Lip Monsters. Of course, the tradeoff is that the color payoff is reduced, but they feel even more effortless to wear. They work great for a bare-faced look. They're also suitable for days when you've done a slightly heavier eye makeup, as they can help tone down the intensity of the lips. Among the 6 swatches, the top 2 are taken in indoor lighting, and the bottom 4 are in natural light. As you can see, they provide a very natural peach-toned lip color, which appears slightly warmer when viewed in natural light. The color is like the inside of a peach, with the pinkness of the Pink Banana toned down and the transparency increased...and the natural subtle sheen of the Lip Monsters is still there, which I really like.
ConsIf your lip color is quite intense, the application may barely be noticeable.
